The project was launched at a press conference on 10.12.2009 in the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency. The project is being implemented by the National Center for Addictions (NCA) in partnership with:

The Competence Centre of the City of Oslo Agency for Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services (CC-AADAS), Norway
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Regional Project Office for South Eastern Europe (UNODC RPOSEE)
The general objective of the project is to improve the quality and effectiveness of the preventive activities in the drug addiction field in Bulgaria and developing of accessible informational and counseling services for children and adolescents experimenting and abusing drugs and their families.
Ms. Tsveta Raycheva, Director of NCA, Ms. Ragnhild Audestad, Director of CC-AADAS, and Ms. Runa Frydenlund from CC-AADAS, Norway, Ms Carlla Chiavarella, UNODC RPOSEE and Mrs. Dorita Krasteva, Director of SMCA made short speeches and presented the activities of the project.
The press conference was attended by many journalist from different Bulgarian electronic and paper media, representatives from Sofia Municipality, the Norwegian Embassy in Sofia and other governmental institutions.
