On Sunday, 29 April 2012, H.E. Tove Skarstein, together with Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, attended the official opening of the Ancient Stadium of Philipoppolis in the city of Plovdiv. On 27 April 2012, Norwegian government submitted a white paper to the Storting on the EEA and Norway Grants. The purpose of the white paper is to sum up the results achieved in the period 2004–09 and set out the objectives for the period 2009–14. Read more

The renovated building of the first class school in Bulgaria, situated in the town of Koprivshtitsa, was inaugurated on 25 February 2011. The building is now turned into a living museum, where ethnographic and school exhibitions and animations take place. Read more

A booklet presenting EEA and Norway Grants in Bulgaria is already available in English. Grant support worth 41.5 million euro and earmarked for the period 2007 - 2009 has been awarded to 64 individual projects, 2 funds and technical assistance in Bulgaria. On Friday, 29 October 2010, H.E. Tove Skarstein, Bulgarian Culture Minister Vezhdi Rashidov, EU Funds Minister Tomislav Donchev and Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova cut the ribbon on the reconstruction of the listed building of the Sofia Arsenal into a museum of contemporary art. The project goes under the abbreviation SAMCA (Sofia Arsenal Museum of Contemporary Art). Read more

Разкопките, както и реставрацията на манастирския комплекс на остров Св. Иван край Созопол, са финансирани от норвежкото правителство по линия на Европейското икономическо пространство (ЕИП).
